Created as a spin-off of the popular crime drama JAG, NCIS premiered in 2003 on CBS and has gone on to become even more watched than its sister show! With fourteen seasons behind it and no plans of slowing down soon, it is also the second-longest-running primetime TV series in the US; just behind another crime drama favorite, Law & Order.

Despite less than stellar ratings upon its first airing, NCIS has repeatedly been voted to be one of America’s favorite TV shows. With 345 episodes so far, there have been dozens of characters making their ways through the doors of the Washington Navy Yard, either working for the Naval Criminal Investigative Service or against them! While the main character, Leroy Jethro Gibbs, may be male, there have been dozens of leading and supporting ladies in NCIS and its spin-offs. So, what are those women like in real life? And what are those who have left the show doing now?
