You’ll feel like you are on the vacation of your life, and you can escape the rigors of studying for a while. You could do it in a day, or even make a weekend of it, and slip away to heaven on Earth.
Corfu Island – Greece
You might have heard that Corfu is something of a tourist trap these days, but it largely depends on where you go. This is still the best place in the country to find a beautiful, stunning beach on which to relax. The white, hot sand, licked by waves from the Ionian Sea makes this small island a must-visit for anyone. Put the books aside for a day, and discover the tranquility of Corfu.
Lagos – Portugal
A trip to southern Portugal wouldn’t be complete without heading out to Lagos. This is one of the most picture perfect parts of Portugal and home to some of the country’s best beaches. The Atlantic Ocean will be a great departure from the Mediterranean, and there are some stunning rock formations here as well.
Positano – Italy
Italy certainly is the place for all seasons, with somewhere to appeal to anyone, no matter what time of year. Positano is another of the unforgettable places you have to visit when you travel to Italy. Head to the island of Capri while you’re here, and try to visit the Blue Grotto; that’s before we even get to trying the food.
La Barceloneta in Barcelona – Spain
Is there anything Barcelona isn’t great for? Aside from the delicious paella, tapas, and Picasso, this stunning Catalonian city also has an amazing beach called La Barceloneta. We highly recommend you check out this beach, and soak up a different side of Barcelona.
